Devika Gujral here..today I am on Madras Bazaar s blog with a fun, shaker project which can be hung me your car or room!
STARRY LOVE
Take the dome and paint it with Mod podge Sheer Aqua.(If you don’t have it, you can use any glass paint)
Apply 2 coats of it with the sponge, allowing 1-2 hours between each coat.
When it’s dry, you will get a translucent effect, which is the exact effect I wanted as I wanted the elements in the inside portion to show.
Take the LOVE chipboard sentiment by Mudra, paint it red and adhere it with “love” word upwards, inside the dome with the help of double adhesive tape.Cut very small thin tape, just to cover the chipboard on the edges or else the shaker elements will stick to it if there is any excess tape left.
Trace the dome on white chipboard and fussy cut it. This will form the base of the shaker dome.
Put the shaker elements on the chipboard and shimmer it up with the amazing Glitters from Madras bazaar!
Glue the dome on the white base and let it dry before you start shaking and playing with it.
I attached the super cute heart shaped hanging charm which I got in my kit with the help of a jumpring.
As I wanted to hang it in my car, I put the jute thread through the hole and the hanging is ready!!
